WOKINGHAM Fireworks Charitable Trust has confirmed that the town’s annual firework display will go ahead this evening.
The weather has been wet this morning but looks set to remain dry during the festivities.
Cantley Park is rather muddy, and ticket holders are advised to wear suitable footwear.
Organisers say that all tickets have now been sold, and that none will be available on the door.
They ask anyone without a ticket kindly not to turn up, and warn that people have been trying to sell tickets on local groups.
They ask buyers to beware, and to make sure they know who they are purchasing from if they do take an online offer.
There is no parking around the site, and visitors are advised to park in the town centre to join the torchlit procession at 6.15pm.
The fairground will take cards or cash.
