WOKINGHAM Libraries is hosting an online history session next week.
Peter Must from the Wokingham Society will present Take Him to the Tower, a talk about the life of the Hon. Adam Williamson on Wednesday, March 23, at 10.30am.
Williamson was the owner of the Grade II* listed Montague House on Broad Street,Wokingham.
He was a soldier under the Duke of Marlborough in the war of the Spanish Succession and chief military commander of the Tower of London from 1722 to 1747.
The virtual talk for adults will take place on Microsoft Teams. Attendees will be sent joining information and a link to the talk the day before.
