A LOCAL association of retired and semi-retired professional and business people is keen to open its doors to new members.
Wokingham Probus Club meets monthly for lunch, friendship and to be entertained and informed by talks and other activities put on by the group.
This year’s programme of events includes a wide range of subjects.
Speakers already booked will present on the theatre, hypnosis, life in politics, Mrs Simpson, music and Guide dogs.
The club will also hold its annual light-hearted quiz and a celebratory Christmas lunch at the end of the year.
There are no qualifying requirements for membership, and both men and women are welcomed.
Anyone happy to join the group of retired business people and professionals, which includes, for example, teachers, IT specialists, and engineers, is warmly invited to enquire.
The group meets monthly at the Coppid Beech Hotel, Bracknell.
