THE RESTORATION of a heritage railway will be discussed at a talk next week.
Tony Stead will be talking to The Wokingham Methodist Railway and Transport Club about the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway.
Mr Stead will explain how the historic bay platform canopy at Maidenhead station was removed, refurbished and re-erected at the Wallingford terminus.
The project won national awards and kept the historic structure in place.
The talk will be on Tuesday, February 15, at 7.45pm at the Bradbury Centre, Rose Street.
