WOODLEY Concert Band (WCB) invites the borough to join them for two performances of Christmas music.

An afternoon concert designed especially for younger listeners, is followed on the same day by a full-length musical bonanza of all age Christmas music.

The Children’s Christmas Concert is described as an hour of fun, and is a huge hit with families, say the musicians.

The event has sold out in the past two years.

Children can join in with shaking, jingling and singing.

“It’s a wonderful chance to enjoy the magic of live music and Christmas,” say the organisers.

“And he full-length concert that follows, offers an evening of brilliant Christmas music.

“There’ll be great arrangements of popular festive music, cosy fireside winter warmers, audience carols and more than a hint of fun.”

Both concerts take place at Harriet Walter Theatre, Reddam House School, Sindlesham on Sunday, December 7.

The children’s concert is at 3pm, followed by the full-length programme of music at 7pm.

Tickets for the children’s concert cost £10 for adults, and £5 for under 16s.

Tickets for the adult concert cost £15 for adults, £13 over 65s, and £5 for under 16s.

Some free tickets are available for the evening concert through the Woodley Concert Band First Timers Scheme, for those who have never been to a WCB concert before.
