A YOUNG girl seen wandering the streets by herself on Saturday was seen again on Monday evening.
This time, police officers said they were able to locate the girl and return her safely to her family.
The youngster was seen outside the Lidl supermarket in Headley Road, Woodley around 10pm on Monday, October 1.
It is the second time she has been seen by herself at an unusual time of day: she was seen around 5am on Saturday morning in Woodlands Avenue.
The police response at the weekend included patrols and door-to-door enquiries, but officers were stood down after nothing came to light.

In a statement, Thames Valley Police said: “Officers attended the Lidl in Headley Road, Woodley, last night at around 10pm following reports of a young girl walking alone in the precinct.
“On arrival, officers located a seven-year-old girl. The girl was returned home to her parents and is safe and well.
“From conversations with the girl, it is now known this to be the same person that was reported being alone in the Woodley area on Saturday morning, and she is from the local area.
“Safeguarding measures have been put in place.”
