With high temperatures forecast for Monday, June 30, and Tuesday, July 1, Wokingham borough council’s bin crews will be starting their rounds an hour earlier than usual, from 5.30am.
This helps protect them from working during the hottest part of the day and keeps collections running smoothly in the heat.
You can help by putting your bins out the night before your collection day, and making sure containers are clearly visible and accessible by 5.30am
A spokesperson said: “Thanks for doing your bit to support the crews during the warm weather.”
