Pointless stars Richard Osman and Alexander Armstrong plan to visit Woodley

One of the most popular daytime quizzes is Pointless and later this month, its two stars will be visiting Woodley, no doubt looking for some new pointless answers.

Richard Osman and Alexander Armsorng will be dropping in to sign copies of their new book A-Z Of Pointless: A Brain Teasing Bumper Book of Questions and Trivia.

The book features 26 rounds of Pointless, a game where contestants are asked to guess the lowest-scoring answers to questions.

The book aims to take you on a journey from A to Z you will learn amazing facts, from Agincourt and Andy Warhol to Zinedine Zidane and Zimbabwe, and everything in between. As an added bonus Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman, also reveal their exclusive A to Z of behind the scenes gossip and Pointless secrets

The pair, who met at University, have been hosting Pointless since it began in August 2009 (on BBC Two).

Now, they will be appearing at Chapter One bookshop in Crockhamwell Road on Wednesday, June 22.

Pointless airs on BBC One at 5.15pm on weekdays and there are regular celebrity editions on Saturdays. The show also airs on Challenge TV.
