Division 2A
Eversley got back to winning ways with a six-wicket triumph against Amersham 2s.
Amersham batted first and set a challenging chase for Eversley as several consistent innings from their batting line up saw them post 244 from 52 overs.
Eversley chased remarkably well as a mammoth innings from Jack Ford (123*) and a hearty contribution from Byron Hickman (55*) helped them surpass the target in just 36 overs with six wickets to spare.
Division 2B
Hurst dropped to third in the division after they drew against Beaconsfield. The hosts hit a strong total of 246-6 from 52 overs, and while Hurst failed to match the run rate of their opponents they avoided losing all of their wickets as they posted 163-9 from 48 overs as their opponents took a winning draw.
Meanwhile, Finchampstead 2s were beaten by Aldershot to leave them in seventh position. Aldershot knocked 261 from their 52 overs while P Patel bowled a stunning spell and despite conceding 105 runs, he took eight wickets.
However, Finch were bowled all out for 170 after 31 overs as they fell to defeat.
Division 3A
Wokingham 2s came out as victors against Binfield in a top of the table clash. Both sides showed their batting power as Binfield set Wokingham a target of 290 to win having only conceded five wickets as Wynand Lamprecht knocked 103.
Wokingham rose to the challenge and smashed 290 after 45.1 overs and only dropped three wickets to seal a comfortable seven wicket win as Stuart Hayter top scored with 88. The win means that second placed Wokingham close the gap to first placed Binfield.
Finchampstead 3s dropped into the relegation zone as Farnham Royal beat them by 26 runs.
Division 4A
Sonning extended their lead at the top of the league with an 85-run win margin against bottom of the table North Maidenhead 2s.
Wokingham 3s stay close behind Sonning as they beat Bagshot 2s by five wickets. Jake Turner (4-26) bowled clinically before Rahul Patel (71) helped to score Wokingham to victory as they chased down 190 in 41 overs.
Wargrave 2s moved up to third place with a 101-run thrashing against White Waltham who as a result slipped to fifth position. Wargrave bowler Smith took an incredible 7-34 as they prevented White Waltham from getting near the target of 265 set in the first innings.
Division 5B
Eversley 2s suffered a small blip in their form as they drew with second place Binfield 2s but remain at the top of the league with their unbeaten record still intact.
Binfield hit a massive 305 before they were bowled all out as Matt Humphrey knocked an incredible innings of 147. Eversley batted strongly but couldn’t match the run rate of Binfield’s innings as they scored 248-9 from 48 overs.
Division 6B
Sonning 2s climbed to fourth place with a six wicket win over third place Purley on Thames 2s. Ahmed (7-32) bowled a tremendous spell in the first innings for Sonning before Richards knocked 89 runs to wrap up the victory.
Hurst 2s suffered a four wicket loss against Cove 3s as their opponents moved off the bottom of the pile.
Finchampstead 4s stay just above the relegation places despite being defeated by top of the table Bradfield.
Division 7A
Wargrave 3s beat Newbury 2s by three wickets to stay close behind Yateley at the summit of the division.
Binfield 3s remain close behind in third despite being smashed by top of the table Yateley who recorded a ten wicket triumph.
Wokingham 4s dropped to eighth position as they were narrowly defeated by eight runs against Slough 5s. Rakesh Patel hit a superb innings of 101 but the Oaks fell just short as they were bowled all out on 222 after trying to chase 231 to win the match.
Division 8A
Eversley 3s continued their amazing start to the season as they made it eight consecutive victories as they stormed to an eight wicket win against Finchampstead 5s. Matthew Martin smashed 119 not out to help Eversley cruise to victory as they chased down the 192 target set by Finch in just 27.4 overs.
Wokingham 5s dropped to eighth place as Bradfield 2s beat them by six wickets.
Division 9A
Sonning 3s moved up to fourth as they defeated Kidmore End 3s by 50 runs, while Eversley 4s were also victorious with a five wicket triumph against Maidenhead & Bray 4s
Wokingham Oaks & Acorns earned their first win of the season as they strolled to an eight wicket win against Wargrave 4s. Roger Heath performed magnificently with both bat and ball as he took 6-13 to help bowl Wargrave all out for 122 before scoring 60 not out as Wokingham surpassed the target within 29.3 overs with eight wickets to spare.
