Crowfinch (a mixture of u15/u13s from Crowthorne and Finchampstead) have just finished a successful season in the Berkshire League Girls U15 Blast.
After a tough couple of early defeats to Falkland and Slough, the girls pulled it back with wins over Binfield (twice), Henley (twice) and then avenging the defeat against Slough in a thrilling performance with bat and ball.
The girls were consistently good with the ball in all matches – stand out performances from Lily Mansfield, Katie Finucane, Chloe Mcdonagh, Trisha Nair and Charlotte Lalonde with her sharply turning leg spinners.
With the bat Gabi Jones and Sana Kiran scored heavily and were backed up with significant contributions from Annabelle Lalonde, Nishka Gavankar and the destructive Phoebe Salter.
The team spirit amongst the girls was fantastic – constant encouragement even in some difficult moments against very strong opponents.
