As our carved pumpkins start to wilt and the cobwebs are put back in the cupboard for another year, the run up to Christmas truly begins. For us, that means some special events at both the Siren Tap Yard, and the George & Dragon pub – both of which have some exciting new developments!

The George & Dragon, Swallowfield

As you may know, we have been busy installing a brand new kitchen throughout October and we offer a huge thank you to those who visited and for bearing with us during the disruption. We are extremely excited to now announce that we have officially completed our project and the new kitchen is now in operation!

Pictured The George and Dragon’s Head Chef, Chips, in the new kitchen

We worked closely with Sprint, who have supplied and installed our kitchen to an amazing standard, offering fantastic guidance and advice along the way. Their experience delivering kitchen projects for the likes of The Ivy Group, Hawksmoor and Coppa Club has brought a wealth of valuable experience to the project.

Follow The George & Dragon on Instagram @GeorgeDragonRG7 to see some updates from the new kitchen, and don’t forget to book your Christmas Dinner party in now. We’re open for bookings from November 25th, right up to Christmas Eve.

The Tap Yard

The Tap Yard has undergone some menu updates of its own, with regulars (and staff!) very much enjoying the new pizza menu, loaded fries and delicious dessert options. If you’re thinking of visiting this weekend, we have Funky Pickle serving up their incredible Poutine and other Canadian wares on Saturday, and our pizza menu in full swing on Sunday.

We’ll also have our latest release, Salted Caramel Affogato, available. This is a re-brew of an old favourite, this time with Salted Caramel coffee. Trust us… it’s delicious! As we also have ice cream available, why not make your own Affogato Ice Cream float?

The last brew of Affogato – this time around it’s Nitro, making it smoother than ever!

Lastly – don’t forget we have a mini Christmas Market at the Tap Yard on Saturday 10th December, with plenty of street food, stalls and as always – brewery fresh beautiful craft beer.

See you here soon!
