SIXTH Form students at Edgbarrow School were rewarded for their efforts throughout the past year with a strong set of A-Level results.
More than one third of all grades were between an A* and an A – or UCAS equivalent – with 61% A*-B and 99.8% at least a pass.
An impressive 33 students achieved all A*/A or Distinction*/Distinction grades.
A statement from the school read: “We are very pleased that so many of them achieved their ambitious targets and we wish them the very best as they continue their studies or move into the world of work.
“The students should be hugely proud of their hard work and we are grateful for the superb support of students’ families and the hard work of staff who, together, have helped to make this happen.”
Dan Williams secured a degree apprenticeship at Farnborough Airport as an IT systems developer, while Hannah Merry has already got started with her air traffic controller apprenticeship.
Tom Pearce achieved four A*s and Sophie Hardman scored A*, A, A, which will see her head to Cambridge to study history.
