A MONTHLY group for adopters and their children meets in the borough.
Let’s Get Creative! Is for adopted youngsters aged five to 13, and includes a support group for their carers.
Organised by Parenting Special Children, the sessions take place on the first Saturday of the month.
Children are split into age groups for activities to help them enjoy building social skills through different forms of art.
Parents stay for an Adopter’s Support Group, which can also be attended even without a child attending Let’s Get Creative.
The next event is at Lower Earley Baptist Church, on Saturday, July 6, from 10am until noon.
Places are free for Berkshire children, and £10 for those outside the county.
All tickets must be booked, including parent/carer tickets.
