YO, HO, HO and plenty of fun … a new soft play centre is to open in Wokingham town centre on Saturday, with the star attraction being a pirate ship.
Landlubbers won’t need to be pressganged into this voyage of the seven seas, as it’s in Elms Field.
The new Pirates Landing soft play centre boasts a 40ft hand-built pirate ship, perfect for all hands on deck.
And parents can take comfort from the company’s mantra “to always be the cleanest, friendliest, and best soft play you have ever visited”.
The centre is on one floor, and air-conditioned, and adults are not charged an entry fee.
The site can also accommodate birthday parties for up to 30 children, with set-up and clean-up undertaken by the company’s cabin boys and girls, to make the experience as easy as possible for parents.
This is Pirates Landing’s third site, and the owner, father-of-three Chris Jefferson can’t wait to set sail.
“Our goal at Pirates Landing is to make a positive impact on the lives of the families in the communities we serve,” he said.
“The passionate team at Pirates Landing will always provide a first-class captain’s experience.”
The mayor will be opening the centre on Saturday morning at 9.30am, and after that it will be open seven days a week.
