A Wokingham flower show in October will allow visitors to a Norreys church to see for themselves its newly reopened building as well as a creative floral display to mark the event.
Following extensive alterations, the church can now function as a community café and arts venue as well as continuing to fulfil its primary role as a place of worship.
Exhibits at the flower show will represent the experts who planned and executed the building’s renovation and restoration work.
Other floral creations will illustrate aspects of the church’s life and services provided for the wider community.
The organisers have called the flower show Renovation and Restoration in celebration of the completed building project.
The event will take place at the Wiltshire Road church in Wokingham, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 13, 14, and 15.
Doors will open on Friday and Saturday from 10am until 5pm, and on Sunday from noon until 5pm.
Entrance is free of charge, and tea and coffee will be available.
