FANS of Deep Purple can enjoy a Wokingham concert.
Wokingham Music Club presents Deeper Purple, the Space Truckers’ Tour.
The music club, run by the Wokingham Lions, is calling all lovers of Classic Hard Rock to hear the sounds of Deeper Purple, an international band delivering an authentic tribute to giants of rock, Deep Purple.
The band will perform for over two hours, delivering energetic performances of classic songs such as Highway Star, Black Night, Woman from Tokyo, Child in Time, Perfect Strangers, Burn, Mistreated and Deep Purple’s best-known hit, Smoke on the Water.
The concert promises to delight Deep Purple fans, and lovers of classic hard rock.
Expect soaring guitars, unwavering vocals, thundering organs and tight rhythm, as Deeper Purple recreates the original sounds.
One reviewer of a 2025 gig praised Deeper Purple as ‘ridiculously good,’ and said the band delivers ‘the best reproduction of the Purple live sound you’re ever likely to hear.’
Another said: ‘If you’ve never heard of Deep Purple… you should still see Deeper Purple, that’s how good they are.’
The concert will take place at All Saints Church, Wokingham, on Saturday, April 25.
Doors open at 6.30pm, with drinks available from the bar.
