A SERVICE of Collation and Induction for the Revd Hannah Higginson will take place in Wokingham in July, when she will be welcomed as the church’s new rector.
Allun James, churchwarden at All Saints said: “On behalf of all at All Saints I would like to congratulate Hannah.
“We shall pray for her and wish her, her husband, and their family well in this new phase of her ministry.
The collation will be conducted by the Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Revd Dr Steven Croft, with induction to the new post officiated by the Archdeacon of Berkshire the Ven Stephen Pullin.
Mr James continued: “The recruitment process robustly tested all the candidates for the post of rector.
“After careful consideration and subject to the usual checks, we are delighted that the next incumbent of All Saints will be Hannah Higginson.”
Ms Higginson is taking time out to move house and to prepare herself for her new ministry, and is currently on leave until her new post begins.
The service takes place at All Saints Church, Norreys, Wokingham, on Wednesday, July 10, at 7pm.
