An appeal has been made to report any suspicious activity to police after claims have been made that men are harassing schoolgirls in Earley.
A public post on the ‘We Love Earley’ Facebook page purportedly states that school girl’s are being harassed by men.
According to the post, girls in school uniform have faced harassment and catcalling around the Maiden Place centre in Lower Earley.
The post was published on Wednesday, February 5.
Meanwhile, a member of the public has reported that police officers were knocking on doors in Setterington Close and Easington Drive at around 5pm on Monday, February 10.
Anyone who has witnessed suspicious activity is encouraged to report it to Thames Valley Police online or by calling 101.
If anyone feels they are in immediate danger, they can call the police emergency number 999.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service has requested a statement from the police.
