A READING town centre book shop is hosting a launch event for a Reading author.
Iszi Lawrence’s latest fiction books for children, part of The Time Machine Next Door series, will be celebrated by Waterstones in Broad Street.
The Time Machine Next Door is a new series of quirky books for readers aged seven to nine, devised by the comedian, podcaster and children’s author. The aim is to bring lesser-known parts of history to life with hilarious plots, real-life characters, fascinating facts and fantastic illustrations.
The event, on Saturday, April 15, will have two hour-long sessions at 11am and 3pm.
Tickets cost £3 each, and attendees will receive a £3 discount on the book purchase on the day of the event.
