AN AWESOME foursome will provide the music at Monday’s Nettlebed Folk Club.
The artists, all familiar names in folk, will be combining for a special one-off show, sharing songs they have chosen and arranged for the gig.
The line-up is Jackie Oates, Charlie Dore, Megan Henwood and Rowan Godel and the will perform both individually and together.

Jackie is a much-loved and in demand award-winning folk singer with seven albums under her belt plus music featured on CBeebies, Midsomer Murders and Michael Wood’s Britain: A Peoples’ History.
Charlie is one of the UK’s most respected songwriters, her songs covered by many including George Harrison, Tina Turner and Celine Dion. A multi-award winner, her songs have reached number one in the charts, while her Dark Matter album won 1917’s Best Album and Best Lyrics from the US Indie Acoustic Project.

Megan is an award-winning songwriter, guitarist and vocalist on the acoustic scene and has also written for many other artists and projects. She’s performed solo and with a full band all over Europe and toured with the likes of Show Of Hands and Eric Bibb.

Finally, Rowan is a former Oysterband and Levellers collaborator, and earlier this year, played chainmaker Bird in Townsend Productions touring Folk Opera Rouse Ye Women, with music by John Kirkpatrick.
Organisers said that tickets are flying out of the door so booking is essential.
The concert starts at 8pm on Monday, November 18 and takes place in the Village Club, in Nettlebed’s High Street.
