Premier Division
Berkshire County Sports extended their lead at the summit of the table as their fixture against Goring on Thames was conceded by the opposition, meanwhile second place Shinfield were succumbed to a rare defeat.
Shinfield posted a decent first innings total of 200 before they were bowled all out in their fixture against Welford Park. But the hosts surpassed Shinfield’s score with relative ease as they hit 203 after just 34 overs with four wickets to spare.
Crowthorne & Crown Wood suffered defeat in a low scoring encounter against Woodcote, who sit just above the Crows in third place. Woodcote were bowled out for a modest total of just 120 after some excellent bowling by Crowthorne.
But a poor innings saw the Crows only manage to total 84 as they were skittled by Woodcote for a disappointing score.
Ibis Mapledurham secured a winning draw against Woodley. Ibis set Woodley a score of 195 to win the match having scored 194-6 from their 45 overs. Woodley managed to avoid being bowled all out, but were only able to score 186-9 from 45 overs.
Division 1
Twyford and Ruscombe continued their chase for promotion with a five wicket win against Peppard Stoke Row 2s.
Peppard Stoke Row batted first and scored a total of 191-9 from the allotted overs. It took Twyford 39.2 overs to seal the victory as their captain Razavullah Shaik led them to victory, scoring 58 not out as they dropped just five wickets in the innings.
Woodley 2s cruised to a brilliant victory against Warfield as they defeated their opponents by an eight wicket margin to claim their fifth win of the season.
Woodley removed Warfield for 128 after just 35.3 overs, with Upendra Deshpande (4-14) and Sachin Raina (3-10) both performing superbly with the ball. Pradeep Kadloor knocked 51 runs not out as Woodley wrapped up a comfortable victory having surpassed the chase in just 22 overs.
Division 2
Knowl Hill suffered an eight wicket loss against top of the table West Reading 3s. They scored 160 in the first innings, but their opponents cruised to the win as they surpassed the chase within 24.3 overs.
Wokingham 6s are left rooted to the bottom of the division as Reading Lions beat them by four wickets.
Wokingham posted a decent first innings score of 254 as Chinmay Kulkarni hit a stunning innings of 88 runs.
But Reading Lions batted efficiently and claimed victory after 41 overs having lost six wickets.
Division 3
Shinfield 3s remain in third place as they took a winning draw against Crowthorne & Crown Wood 3s who sit second bottom of the division having only won once this campaign.
Shinfield were removed all out for just 136 as David McQuitty (3-15) and Venkata Sashank Adapa (3-24) both displayed fine performances with the ball.
But Crowthorne scored slowly in their innings and only totalled 107 from the 45 overs, losing nine wickets in the process as Agasthya Kumar recorded brilliant bowling figures of 4-18.
