DON’T worry if you missed out on getting Bill Bailey tickets for Reading this October, as the multi-talented comedian has announced a further two dates next summer.
Following a sell-out tour of Australia and New Zealand, Bailey’s latest offering, LIMBOLAND, a look into the gap between how we imagine our lives to be and how they really are, will be coming to The Hexagon on Thursday, June 23 and Friday, June 24 2016.
Two dates in October this year, the 14 and 15, have already sold out, and the new dates have been added, along with 37 more dates around the UK, due to phenomenal public demand.
With his trademark intelligence and sharp wit, he tells tales of finding himself in this halfway place. From his countless global travels, he recounts the hilarious saga of a disastrous family trip to Norway to see the Northern Lights.
He rails against a world that doesn’t match up to our expectations and contemplates the true nature of happiness. And no Bill Bailey show would be complete without music, so we have Bill’s version of the protest song, a heart-rending country and western ballad played on a Bible, and a fabulously downbeat version of Happy Birthday.
Tickets for the June 2016 dates will go on sale on Friday, April 24 at 10am. Tickets cost £27, inclusive of booking fee, and are available from www.readingarts.com/thehexagon.
