THERE were books galore, cakes to drool over and plants for the garden and the window shelf.
All of these delights and many more, helped raise over £900 at the St Mary’s spring fayre and grand sale.
The annual event is a major fundraiser for the Winnersh church which has undergone major refurbishment.

Good weather helped draw the crowds to the fête which was also well stocked with a large variety of stalls.
This year a new painting stall was included. This proved to be very popular doing brisk business throughout the day.
A parish spokesperson said: “There is a lot of hard work put into the fête with many people volunteering their time and energy.
“We would like to thank them for all their efforts.
“The money raised will go to church funds and be used throughout the year as required.”
