A 60-year-old man from Bracknell has been found not guilty of a series of rape charges following a trial at Reading Crown Court.
Seth Asare, of Barn Close, had denied nine counts of rape and one count of causing a female to engage in sexual activity. The allegations related to non-recent incidents involving two women, Thames Valley Police said at the time of his arrest.
Asare first appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 4 May 2023 and was remanded in custody ahead of a Crown Court hearing on 5 June.
Following a full trial, a jury acquitted him of all charges on Thursday, 6 November.
He has now been formally cleared and found not guilty.
