BRACKNELL wedding venue Stirrups Hotel is a finalist in this year’s National Wedding Awards.
In the Small Hotel of the Year’category at the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards 2026, the venue has been recognised for outstanding customer experience within the UK wedding industry.
Guides for Brides celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.
One of the UK’s leading wedding directories and planning platforms, it provides couples with expert advice and trusted recommendations for wedding venues and suppliers nationwide.
Its Customer Service Awards have been running for 10 years, recognising wedding businesses, based on the quality and quantity of reviews left on guidesforbrides.co.uk.
The awards are open to every business represented on the platform during the past year.
Nikita Thorne, head of strategy at Guides for Brides, said: “Exceptional customer experience has never mattered more.
“In today’s market, couples are more informed, and more selective.
“They expect transparency, care and consistency at every touch point.
“These awards recognise the businesses that don’t just meet those expectations, but actively raise the bar for the entire industry.
“Every shortlisted business and finalist should feel genuinely proud of the standard they represent.”
Jason Mckelvie, director at Stirrups Hotel said: “This recognition is testament to the dedicated service our amazing team members give to all of our guests.
“Weddings are a particular privilege for us to be a part of, and we take the responsibility of being a couples’ venue of choice seriously, and with great pride.
“As a family-owned business, being a finalist in such nationally recognised awards is a wonderful achievement.”
A panel of expert industry judges will now independently review the finalists and select the winners.
These will be announced, and all finalists celebrated, at a black-tie awards ceremony on at Oxford Town Hall, on Wednesday, March 18.
