POLICE have closed roads around Arborfield Cross this morning to allow firefighters to tackle a blaze at The Bull Inn.
They are asking people to avoid the area.
The pub’s outbuildings were involved in the blaze, and holes can be seen in the sides of the building from Swallowfield Road
There is extensive fire damage to fixtures and furniture in the pub’s beer garden.
The pub’s main building is closed off, but appears to be damage free. However, there is a strong smell of smoke lingering in the air.

Police have closed off the roadsto allow an investigation to take place, and fire crews are on site checking the buildings are now safe.
Wokingham Today understands the incident is not being treated as a crime scene.

In a statement on social media, Thames Valley Police posted: “Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue, along with Officers from Bracknell and Wokingham ICR, are currently on scene at a large fire at The Bull Public House at Arborfield Cross.
