Christmas came to Twyford on Friday evening as the annual street fayre took over the centre of the village.
Describing the event as “thronging,” Stephen Conway of organisers Twyford Together said: “We had more than 50 stalls, as well as choirs and street entertainers.
“Many of our retailers stayed open and will have benefited from the event.
“It was a big success, and early reports are that many of the stallholders saw an increase in turnover from previous years.”
