THE sight of a large fajita lying in the middle of the road in Lower Earley has caused quite a stir.
Witnesses took to Facebook to describe seeing the Mexican delicacy lying in the road in Rushey Way, between the Kilnsea Drive and Marefiled junctions, at around 8pm on Wednesday night.

One passing motorist even claimed that a number 21 bus had to mount the pavement to avoid the wrap, but this was strongly denied by a Reading Buses spokesperson.
He said: “If one of our drivers did come across a fajita in the road then I’m sure they would tackle it with aplomb.”
It is not known whether the fajita was chicken, steak or vegetarian in substance, but concerns were raised over the amount of sauce spilled on the road.
