Two local business owners have been announced as finalists for national awards for children’s activities.
Michelle Webb, who runs Tiny Talk Bracknell and Wokingham, and Cari Weston, who runs BilinguaSing Wokingham and Bracknell have been shortlisted for the Franchisee of the Year category of the Club Hub Awards 2025.
The Club Hub Awards are for businesses in the children’s activity sector and are offered across 15 categories. A total of 75 finalists have been shortlisted from 261 applications, representing 195 businesses (Club Hub members).
The Club Hub Awards are the only national awards for activity providers with entry by application form only, no voting.
The awards are independently judged by a panel of judges and finalists are short-listed based on their commitment to excellence, innovation and growth of their business, demonstrated through their business performance, achievements, brand values and passion for what they do.
Winners will be announced at the Club Hub Event 2025 in May.
Michelle Webb, of TinyTalk Bracknell and Wokingham, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be a Club Hub finalist.
“I’ve been running baby signing and toddler talking classes in Bracknell and Wokingham for almost 13 years, and to be recognised feels amazing.
“Helping families connect through communication has always been my passion, and this nomination is a wonderful reminder of why I love what I do.
“Being nominated alongside the amazing Cari from BilinguaSing makes it even more special.”
Cari Weston, of BilinguaSing Wokingham and Bracknell, added: “I am delighted to be a finalist – as the only local provider running language classes in Spanish, French and Italian for 0-11 year olds – it’s an honour to be recognised.
“I absolutely love helping children on their language learning journey through a mix of music, sensory play and fun.
“It’s also a pleasure to be nominated alongside Michelle – her classes are fantastic and it shows what amazing activities there are available for children in Wokingham and Bracknell.”
