It’s time to get into the Christmas spirit as The Lexicon launches its annual art competition.
This year, The Lexicon in Bracknell is looking for 12 colourful baubles to make up the town centre’s Christmas treasure trail, which will be launched later in the year.
Open to local children aged between four and 12-years-old, the winner of each age group will receive a gift card from The Lexicon to the value of £35, a fabulous pack of Giotto art products worth £300 for their school plus a smaller Giotto set including coloured pencils and felt pens for themselves.
The nine additional finalists in each group will also receive a Gift Card from The Lexicon worth £10.
Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon, said: “Our Christmas art competition is a great opportunity for primary school children to get into the festive spirit and showcase their creative flair.
“A big thanks to Daler Rowney for its continued support.”
Carola Bustos-Loyola, trade marketing manager at Daler Rowney, added: “We are so excited to be sponsoring The Lexicon’s Christmas art competition again.
“Every year we are so impressed with the entries and look forward to seeing the fantastic bauble designs that local young artists create this year.’’
The bauble colouring template can be found on The Lexicon’s website at www.thelexiconbracknell.com/events/christmas-baubles-2023
The bauble designs can be created using crayons, felt-tip pens, paints or even a computer. The closing date for entries is Sunday, November 5.
Entries can be submitted by posting into either one of The Lexicon post boxes situated outside YiFang on The Avenue or Select in Princess Square, or by email to [email protected]
