The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Wokingham is looking for volunteers, and businesses to help with this year’s fundraising activities.
This year’s event will start on October 27 and run until November 12.
The appeal will have the use of the REME Room in Wokingham Town Hall, where a display of militaria is planned alongside a small shop in addition to a market stall during the appeal.
The appeal is looking for individuals to help with collections, as well as additional retail outlets to host poppy trays and donation boxes.
The annual Remembrance Day Parade and service at All Saints Church will take place on November 12.
