TO celebrate carers this week, an information afternoon in Twyford will offer family entertainment and an opportunity to find out more about caring organisations in the borough
The information day takes place during national Carers Week (June 9 to 13), and includes stalls manned by local charities and organisations, with activities for children, run by Berkshire Youth.
Families will be able to get up close to birds of prey, and youngsters can also enjoy face painting sessions, children’s snack packs, and can meet members of the borough fire service.
The event, organised by Wokingham Carers Parnership, will take place at Loddon Hall, Twyford, on Wednesday, June 11.
Doors are open from 3.30pm until 7pm.
