A CCTV image has been released of a man police believe could help them solve a pre-Christmas assault.
Thames Valley Police said in a statement that they believe he may have vital information about the late night incident.
At around 11.30pm on Saturday 15 December, two men assaulted another man following a verbal altercation in The Black Boy Public House in Shinfield.
Police said that the victim, a man in his 30s, did not sustain any injuries.
Investigating officer PC James Greehy, who is basee at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We would like to identify the man pictured in this CCTV.
“He could have vital information to help us with our investigation in to this assault.
“If you know who this man is, or you are the man pictured, please get in touch.
