SPENCERS WOOD residents will come together for its village hall’s Christmas tree lighting on December 2.
As the festive season starts in earnest, visitors will have the chance to enjoy some mulled wine, mince pies, hot dogs and music at the free event, while watching the hall come to life at the flick of a switch.
Open to all, the free event will also have some festive treats on offer, with freshly baked cookies and gingerbread available to try.
The event opens at 5pm, with the tree lighting taking place at 6pm.
