MEMBERS of a self advocacy group for people with learning disabilities will be able to enjoy meeting and socialising at a variety of activities planned for this month.
CLASP Wokingham offers events throughout the year.
April activities include Movie Mates, the Coffee Shop, Happy And Healthy Club, Craft Club and Evening Drop-In.
Members can also enjoy an Active Session with Bikes 4 All and My Journey, a Gardening Club, Take Notice meetings, Puzzle Club and Choir.
The group’s Gardening Club re-starts this month, with sessions at Oakfield Court on Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm.
Take Notice, the group’s campaign forum, creates space for members to discuss important issues and work towards positive change.
Meetings are at the Bradbury Centre on Friday mornings from 10am-12pm.
Sessions this month cover the upcoming elections and photographic ID requirements on Friday, April 14, food hygiene on Friday, April 21, and a visit to the Wokingham Fire Station on April 28.
Active Sessions Woky Wheels 4 All bike sessions with My Journey, return to the FBC Centre in Finchampstead on Thursday, April 20, from 10am to 11am.
Members should select the 10am-11am to join the CLASP session, but other times are also available.
CLASP events are open to all adults with learning disabilities and their supporters living in Wokingham Borough
