A GROUP of railway devotees will be hearing from visiting speaker Mike Pearce about the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway (LandBR).
Mike will tell Wokingham Railway and Transport Club members something of the history of the original line.
He will also focus on the LandBR which now has one mile of operational track, a replica of the Baldwyn locomotive Lyn, and five rebuilt heritage coaches.
The group meets monthly for illustrated talks about heritage and steam railways, with the opportunity for refreshments and chat.
The event takes place at Wokingham Methodist Church, Bradbury Centre, on Tuesday, April 16, at 7.30pm.
