CROWTHORNE fashion designer Joanna Day’s models were dressed to empress at a London Fashion week show this autumn.
Her collection, the Empress Collection, was unveiled at Dartmouth House, at a celebration of sustainable and emerging designers during London Fashion Week.

“I wanted the collection to be a tribute to women who carry both softness and power.
“Inspired by classical forms and royal strength, my pieces are reimagined for the present.
“There are no corsets or cages — just beauty that moves, breathes, and empowers.
“I created it for every version of myself who thought she couldn’t do it.”

Joanna’s studio, Byzantium Boutique, on Crowthorne High Street, offers ready to wear; vintage and preloved; and made to order, designed with the environment in mind.
She is able to create a one off item using sustainable materials, with a design tailored completely to the customer, or she can transform a much loved garment that’s no longer wearable into something special and unique.
Every piece is made to measure, hand-embellished, embroidered, and crafted to order.
