CROWTHORNE athletes supported by charity Norwood celebrated winning 20 medals at the Special Olympics Southern Region event in Windsor.
Norwood helps adults with learning disabilities and had 17 athletes competing at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre, all from the Ravenswood accommodation in Nine Mile Ride.
They each took part in one field event and one track event including long jump, standing long jump, shot put, softball throw and various different running disciplines.
“The people we support take part in athletics activities every week,” said Norwood sports coach Jonathan Green.
“It was great to see their training come together on the day.
“There are also the social aspects of events such as this, which are so important.”
