Wokingham Lions Club has revealed that the Wokingham Winter Carnival 2025 will be held on Sunday, November 30.
The 2025 Wokingham Winter Carnival will be a fun day out for the whole family organised by Wokingham Lions. It is widely considered to the a highlight in Wokingham’s calendar.
The town is closed to traffic for the day so children can join in the fun in a safer environment.
Tim Hanton, who leads the Winter Carnival team, said: “There will be a whole host of street entertainers, music, singing, dancing and all the fun of the fair, with loads of different rides, whether you’re young or old.
“For lunch there are stalls offering an amazing choice of food and drink, and also stalls selling a wide range of gifts too to help get your Christmas shopping sorted”
The Winter Carnival takes place throughout Wokingham town centre, with all funds raised going to support charities and good causes in the Wokingham area.
It also provides local charities and organisations with an opportunity to raise additional funds for themselves and promote their activities.
Wokingham Lions Club is now inviting stallholders to apply for a pitch/stall.
Early application for stalls is advised to avoid disappointment. Go to www.wintercarnival.co.uk/book25.
