MOTORISTS planning to use the M40 today are being warned of delays after a lorry overturned on slip road.
It was carrying recycling and, as it overturned, spilled its load across the road.
Debris and oil from the spillage means that there is significant damage to the link road from M40 J10 to the A43 northbound near Cherwell Valley Services.
Highways England said that drivers are likely to face severe delays at the link road as only one lane is open out of two.
The road was closed overnight and the lorry removed at 1am, but the spillages have led to significant damage to the road and the lane is expected to be closed for the remainder of the day for barrier repairs and road surface repairs.
