DRIVERS heading on to the westbound section of the M4 this afternoon are being warned to expect delays following an accident.
All three carriageways have since been reopened after a one-vehicle incident resulted in the motorway being closed between Junction 11 at Three Mile Cross and J12 for Theale for around an hour, but journey times in the area are likely to be extended as the backed up traffic clears.

The incident is understood to have involved just the one vehicle, which had reportedly overturned.

According to Traffic England, normal traffic conditions are expected to resume between 2.45pm and 3pm.
