STAFF and residents of A Wokingham care home enjoyed a day out visiting Marlow in Buckinghamshire.
The West Oak care home sightseers enjoyed a stroll in the town, taking in its church, the river and boutiques.
And they received a warm welcome as they sat down to a meal at The Old Brewery, with residents enjoying choosing their favourite dishes from the menu.
West Oak general manager Simona Cioinac said: “We absolutely love being able to take our residents out and about to visit Marlow.
“It makes us so happy to be able to access venues like this.
“It was a fantastic day and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.”
Doreen, resident at West Oak said: “We all had the most wonderful time visiting Marlow.
“It is so lovely to be able to visit places like this and soak up the atmosphere.
“I especially liked the walk and the river.”
West Oak Care Home says that it promotes an enrichment programme to keep residents active, with a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to interests and abilities.
