SHINFIELD Parish Council is inviting residents to rent one of its four remaining allotment plots at its soon-to-open site, Orchard Rise.
Designed for those who may not have previously been able to access planting beds due to health or disability, the plots are raised and on a tarmacked area for wheelchair users to get to with ease.
These beds are also smaller so they are more manageable. The site has a disabled parking bay.
The plots are available on a first come first serve basis, so residents are being asked to reserve spaces as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
