CUSTOMERS at a popular Emmbrook pub weren’t going to let a ‘shooting’ spoil their evening: they simply kept calm and carried on.
Police were called to The Dog & Duck pub on Saturday night following the incident.
Full details are yet to emerge but a sky light in the conservatory area of the Matthewsgreen Road was shattered by a projectile of some kind – exactly what has yet to be confirmed but an indentation caused by something hitting the glass can be seen in the damaged window pane.
Although the skylight had shattered, the pane was made of tempered glass and was still intact in the window frame.

No one was injured in the incident and the pub remained open as normal while armed police investigated. The Wokingham Paper understands that police dogs were also called to the scene and a man from a nearby home was detained.

Staff from the pub were unable to comment but a customer told The Wokingham Paper that the incident took place between 8pm and 8.30pm on Saturday, March 23.
“Thankfully, no one was underneath [the skylight] at the time and no one was injured,” they said.
Thames Valley Police had left the scene when The Wokingham Paper arrived, they have been contacted for a comment.
