AN ENGLAND footballer who plays for AC Milan is one of the partners of a new kitchen retailer preparing to open in Wokingham town centre.
Kutchenhaus will be opening in Elms Walk, offering some of the latest designs from the German kitchen manufacturer, as well as products from brands such as AEG, NEFF, Caple and ASKO.
The unit, which will open at the end of August, will be co-owned by Marc and Tony Maritz alongside their business partners, AC Milan and England footballer, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and his brother Isaac.
It is their second showroom, joining a branch in West Byfleet.
Father and son Marc and Tony will oversee the new showroom, building on their experience, and managed by design consultant Barry Beech.
And Marc has extensive experience, opening his first showroom in South Africa in 1992, going on to own four showrooms since then.
Tony has experience in the kitchen supplier side, drawing on skills he has been taught from Marc.
And as part of nobilia, one of Europe’s leading kitchen manufacturers, Kutchenhaus is franchise business that says it creates affordable kitchens that are skilfully engineered and beautifully designed.
“We’re putting the final touches to our new Wokingham showroom, which we’re tremendously proud of. We’re looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming customers in for initial conversations,” said Marc.
“Our location at Unit 7B, Elms Walk means we’re near Aldi, Starbucks, Everyman Cinema and plenty of other shops, as well as the park. Those interested can come in and take their first steps to a beautiful new kitchen with us.
“Having the support of Kutchenhaus behind us means we can offer customers the very best in German-quality kitchens, plus a hands-on service where we work collaboratively with them to deliver a space they’re delighted with.”
Ruben was pleased the quartet were expanding into Wokingham.
“We saw this opportunity as a perfect one for us to open a second showroom,” he said.
“With Marc and Tony’s extensive experience, the team can offer guidance and a first-class service to new customers.
“Our first showroom together in West Byfleet has been a success so we look forward to welcoming the people of Wokingham through our doors here.”
There are more than 60 Kutchenhaus showrooms across the country, with the company using modern technology to help create kitchens designed for daily living.
Marc says they are now looking to further expansion.
“By opening Kutchenhaus Wokingham we achieve our latest goal and grow our portfolio to two locations. We’re excited for the future and keen to open a third showroom once we’re established here,” he said.
