PEOPLE can enjoy a walk in Bracknell and support their favourite charity this month.
A special day enjoyed by families, friends, work colleagues, schools and clubs from around Bracknell Forest and Wokingham communities will take place this weekend.
Now in its sixth year, Bracknell Together Walkers has raised thousands of pounds for charity, and thanks to its supporters, can also offer cash prizes worth £1,000.
Organisers say the charity stroll suits all ages, and that all are welcome, including pet dogs.
People can choose from the three well-signed walking routes.
A stroll around South Hill Park is about 5k and suitable for wheelchairs, walkers of all abilities and small children.
Two longer 7.5k and 10k walks will also take participants into Swinley Forest.
Those taking part in the event are invited to dress up, paint their faces, or come just as they are.
The event, organised by The Rotary Club of Easthampstead, in partnership with the South Hill Park Trust, will take place at South Hill Park Arts Centre, on Sunday May 18, from 9.30am until 2pm.
Refreshments are available from the Atrium Restaurant at South Hill Park, and all funds raised through sponsorship will go to people’s chosen charity.
