ANYONE who would like to learn to play outdoor bowls can have a go, at a free open day in Woodley.
To celebrate the group’s 60th anniversary, Woodley Bowling Club invites newcomers to the sport and keen players to join them for a free trial session without obligation.
All equipment will be provided, and refreshments will be served.
People can just turn up, but they need to bring flat soled shoes such as trainers – not sandals.
Membership is open to all; bowlers and non-bowlers of all ages and abilities.
The event will take place at Woodford Park, Haddon Drive, Woodley, on Saturday, May 11, from 2pm until 5pm.
