Eversley & California 0-2 Fleet
Eversley welcomed back a familiar face to the home dugout, that being former first team manager now new assistant manager Phil Ruggles.
Also, yet more new recruits, both forwards. Giacommo Di-Lillo from Ash Utd And Cameron Edwin from Frimley Green. Also back from injury was keeper Liam Vaughan and club captain Ali Dickie.
Eversley looked strong at the back with the Binfield pair James Griggs and Phil Veal at its heart.
Cold bright conditions and a good looking pitch, despite all the rain promised much.
However, there was much endeavour but little quality from both sides in the first half. Neither keeper had to make any meaningful saves in a deadlocked half which saw the sides go into the half-time break scoreless.
Eversley made a change going into the second half with debutant Di Lillo forced off the field with a hamstring injury, and was replaced by Kai Francis.
Fleet Spurs came out and started the better, changing their game to a higher press and it worked as they won the ball from the Boars high up the pitch.
Eversley were again given no space and time and created no chances in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
On the hour mark Fleet took the lead from a corner on the right. Eversley responded well with McKernan the main threat.
In the 68th minute from yet another Fleet corner they increased their lead with a well taken side foot volley from the edge of the box putting the game out of sight for the hosts.
Eversley made changes bringing on fresh legs, but to no avail. Fleet saw out the remainder of the game and were worthy winner on their second half performance.

Eversley & California 1-1 Farnham Town
The Boars bounced back from their home defeat to Fleet with an impressive point against the side placed third in the table after a late equaliser from Lewis Robson.
But it wasn’t plain sailing for Eversley in the first half as they fell behind early in the match. The visitors took the lead in the 14th minute as cross from the left wing was met by the Farnham number 10 who headed past Liam Vaughan.
The Boars were put onto the back foot for the remainder of the half but managed to sustain against the Farnham attack and keep the deficit to just one goal going into half-time.
Goalkeeper Vaughan continued to keep Eversley in the contest with a string of stunning saves. And it was the hosts who took full advantage of their keeper’s brilliant work as they found an unlikely equaliser in the 87th minute as Kalum Patrick played a pass through to Robson who applied the finishing touch.
