A deer became trapped in a football net earlier this week, requiring the help of Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue.
In a statement, the organisation said: “At 5:56am on Monday, August 18, we received reports of an animal in need of rescue on Mole Road in Sindlesham.
“One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Wokingham Road was sent to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the crew found a deer stuck in a football net.
“The crew rescued the deer from the netting before safely releasing it back into the wild.
“They were on scene for approximately seven minutes.”
