In the Combined Counties League Premier North, Wokingham Town suffered a 6-0 defeat at third-placed Bedfont Sports. The Sumas were three down inside the opening 15 minutes, and have dropped to 15th place. Town were without Brandon Curtis, who has signed for Ascot United, and the suspended Tahir Carmichael and Dontae Hamblin. New signing Harrison Bayley was also unavailable.
One place below is Reading City, who were without a game. Berks County remain 18th and were also without a game last weekend.
In Division One, Woodley United’s match against Oxhey Jets was postponed, leaving them just one place off the foot of the table.
In the Thames Valley Premier League, leaders Westwood Wanderers were held to a goalless draw by Burghfield, and Finchampstead drew 1-1 with AFC Winkfield. Reading YMCA won 2-1 at Newbury.
Tilehurst El Patrons are out of the Berks & Bucks Sunday Cup after 5-0 defeat at FC Lions in the semi-final. BAPCO can still make the final. Their match against MK Cowboys was postponed.
Elsewhere in the Reading Sunday League Premier Division, Give Back increased their lead at the top with a 4-3 victory at GC United.
SF7 are top of the Bracknell Sunday League Premier Division on goal difference. They won 3-2 against Winnersh Rangers. AFC Dukes are hot on their heels after a 5-1 win over Panthers.
In the Southern Region Women’s Football League, the much-anticipated match between Woodley United and Reading fell victim to the weather, while Ascot United beat Havant and Waterlooville 6-0 in the league cup.
In the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League, a last minute goal from Lauren Broadhurst saw Ashridge Park grab a share of the points in a 2-2 draw against Ruislip.
Finchampstead Ladies lost 7-2 at Oxford City Development in the league cup, while Wargrave Ladies lost on penalties against East Oxford. AFC Reading won 3-0 at Finchampstead Reserves, while Sandhurst Wolves made the long trip to Newport Pagnell Development and returned with a 3-2 defeat.
In Division Two, AFC Caversham won 3-0 at S4K Ladies. In Division Three South, Berks County won 11-1 against Barton Rovers, and Wokingham Town lost 4-1 at Marlow Town.
